Shift: 2nd Shift (4:00 pm – 2:30 am, Mon‑Sat)
Starting Wage: $25.24 /hr + $1 /hr shift differential

EssentialFunctions
- Fuse metal structural components together using multiple forms of submerged arc welding to fabricate steel electrical poles and other structures.
- Plan, layout, and work from blueprints or drawings; understand welding properties of various metals; set up equipment and determine operation sequences for critical safety and load requirements; work in a variety of positions.
- Perform repetitive assembly operations according to established procedures; use hand tools and measuring devices as needed.
- Move pole shafts using an overhead crane and gather parts/materials to complete projects.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
The Role
- Setup, operate, and perform general maintenance of equipment without difficulty.
- Make mathematical calculations for product preparation or machine setup.
- Maintain a safe, productive work environment while producing a quality product that is shipped complete and on time.
- Impact safety, quality, productivity, and delivery directly.
- Report directly to the Production Supervisor.
- Successful completion of an internal welding test.
- Working knowledge of fixturing and welding setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
- Knowledge of welding properties of a variety of metals.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Ability to set up work and determine operation sequence.
- Ability to calculate formulas using basic mathematics and standard U.S. and metric measurements.
- Ability to recognize and solve practical problems.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a diverse group of people.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
- Ability to meet production, safety, and quality standards in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (most frequent lift up to 20 pounds).
- Wear required personal protective equipment and follow facility safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe and productive working environment.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited trade school for welding.
- Three years or more of previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- One or more years of previous experience welding in a professional environment.
- High awareness of safety at all times.
- Passion and integrity with a drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.
