Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Are you interested in supporting the Public Works Department with daily operations and the maintenance of essential city infrastructure? This role will require operational management, such as supervising personnel within the Sanitation, Streets, Facilities, and Fleet divisions. The position also includes budgeting, project management, and safety compliance.

New Hire Salary range: $101,929- $111,286 annually
Salary range: $101,929 - $142,711 annually

- Manages public works, sanitation, streets, facilities, and fleet operations.
- Manages and monitors projects.
- Responds to resident requests, inquiries, and complaints.
- Manages fleet inventories and tracks city assets.
- Manages safety for the division.
- Develops, updates, evaluates, and implements programs, projects, plans, policies, and procedures related to assignment.
- Supervises staff, as assigned; develops and coordinates training.
- Participates in strategic planning and/or the operational performance measurement process.
- Ensures compliance with contracts and applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Prepares, reviews, monitors, and adjusts budgets; reviews, evaluates, and/or approves expenditures; and develops and makes budget and financial recommendations.
- Coordinates the preparation of and/or prepares, reviews, maintains, and submits legal, financial, technical, and other complex, special, and general reports, plans, bid documents, contracts, applications, claims, memorandums, and other documents.
