Batch Plant Loader Operator-Traveling

Southwest Concrete Paving is an established concrete paving company specializing in military airfield construction across the western United States. • Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
• Assist with setup and tear down of plants
• Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisor
• General housekeeping of equipment and jobsite
• The use of a shovel to move material will be necessary
• Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
• Perform pre‑shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be willing to travel up to 100%
• Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends
• Must be able to work in conditions with loud noise; work on/around heavy/moving machinery; bend, walk, stand and sit for extended time; and use hand tools
• Must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. or more on a regular basis
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)

• Must have mechanical knowledge of equipment and be able to perform routine maintenance
• Experience working with Concrete Batch Plants preferred
• CDL preferred

In addition to a competitive salary of $30.00 per hour, Davis Bacon Rates apply on participating projects.
