El Monte Union High School District was established in 1901 and serves over 7,000 students in grades 9‑12 and 11,000 in adult education. The district includes the high schools Arroyo, El Monte, Mountain View, Rosemead, South El Monte, and Fernando R. Ledesma, as well as the El Monte‑Rosemead Adult School, one of California’s largest adult programs.

Qualifications- Proof of high‑school graduation or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of increasingly responsible clerical experience involving the use of automated office equipment and software.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute (net corrected) on a 5‑minute test. No online test will be accepted. To schedule a typing test, contact Amanda Gonzalez in Human Resources at (626) 444‑9005 ext. 9813.
- A Letter of Introduction addressed to Robin Torres, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, explaining your training, experience, and interest in the position.
- Three (3) current letters of recommendation, dated and signed within the last three (3) years.
- A resume.
- A typing certificate proving the required typing speed.
