General Summary
Under some supervision and following established policies and department procedures, the applicant is responsible for closing Business Banking Group various loan types and providing support to assigned Loan Officers in processing deals, client service, and loan/covenant monitoring.
Essential Functions- Support designated officer in ordering appraisal report, title related activities, environmental report, credit report, UCC search, property profile and all other loan processing related activities.
- Collect and input data, loan structures, covenants, borrower's information to nCino including loan related documents for imaging purposes.
- May assist in underwriting less complex new and renewed credits, modifications, and amendments.
- Assist in routine portfolio monitoring activities such as updating financial reporting, exception items, and follow up outstanding items including insurance.
- Coordinate among departments to ensure a smooth closing process from ordering loan documents to boarding loans.
- Prepare required disclosure information within designated time frames.
- Provide quality client service and follow up on any outstanding items.
- Assist designated officer in daily assigned tasks, including coaching and training loan assistant as needed.
- Ensure compliance with bank regulatory and credit requirements with emphasis on quality client while adhering to given deadlines and policies.
- Education:
College graduate in accounting, finance, or business preferred but not mandatory. - Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience in commercial lending. Escrow experience strongly preferred. nCino experience is a plus. Knowledge of general bank credit underwriting policies. - Skills/Ability:
Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency. Good verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (English and Mandarin/Cantonese) a plus. Organized and detail oriented. Ability to manage loan funding/closing and complex loan issues. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-production environment. Strong financial analysis and accounting skills.
$24.04 - $31.25 / hour
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
