East West Bank is seeking a Branch Support Specialist II. The Branch Support Specialist will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to internal customers and other departments within the bank.
Responsibilities- Perform accounting and/or GL reconciliation tasks.
- Respond to branch inquiries regarding bank products and services, transaction requests, and account maintenance related to customer accounts.
- Utilize active listening, express willingness to help, identify customer needs, and deliver courteous, professional service that reflects positively on East West Bank.
- Obtain comprehensive knowledge of all East West Bank systems, products, and services applicable to target customer segments, as well as general information required to answer customer questions and support inquiries about our online banking.
- Handle customer inquiries clearly via phone and email.
- Operate with little supervision and exercise independent judgment in completing assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Banking back‑office operations experience within a banking institution required.
- FIS IBS Insight systems experience is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of back‑office operations banking experience.
- Collaboration and people skills.
- Integrity and dutifulness.
- Available to work overtime as needed.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast‑paced environment with sensitive deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Adherence to policy and procedures and attendance requirements.
The base pay range for this position is USD $22.00/Hr. – USD $26.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
