Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of dirt crews on-site
- Direct equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow
- Monitor project progress and adjust resources to meet deadlines
- Enforce safety standards and conduct job site inspections
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and work orders
- Communicate with project managers regarding site updates and resource needs
- Mentor and train crew members to ensure high performance and skill development
- 5 years min proven experience as a Dirt Foreman or similar supervisory role in heavy civil construction
- Strong knowledge of earthwork, grading, excavation, and site prep operations
- Ability to lead and motivate crews in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
- Proficient in reading construction plans and managing equipment logistics
- Commitment to job site safety and quality control practices
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills
