YourKey Responsibilities
- Inspect and document contractor’s work for conformance with approved documents.
- Establish and implement office procedures related to construction contract administration.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff.
- Implement project controls for construction drawings, contract correspondence, technical records, and other project documents.
- Monitor contractor’s work for compliance with project safety standards.
- Coordinate and/or witness testing on projects.
- Coordinate construction staking as required.
- Review and process shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
- Conduct regular construction meetings with contractor, owner, and stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly or semi‑monthly payment requests.
- Issue change orders on contract.
- Conduct field evaluations and assessments as required.
- Coordinate with owner, contractor, and design team.
- Address project issues in the field and coordinate solutions with contractor, design team, client, and project personnel.
- Perform constructability review on plans and assist in preparation of project documents and cost estimates.
- Document final inspections.
- Assist Supervisor and/or Team Leader with client contact, staffing forecasts, and project development; responsible for key client development.
- Experience with construction principles, techniques, and procedures, occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Knowledgeable in commercial and industrial buildings with a focus on mission‑critical facilities.
- Experience in low and high voltage electrical components and construction techniques.
- Understanding of construction surveying and staking procedures.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Collaborative team player, detail oriented.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Four‑year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of inspection/construction management experience.
- Supervisor and staff development experience.
Position will primarily work in a field setting; may require some office work and up to 25% travel. The description is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned.

Pay TransparencyIn compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in required locations. Compensation is based on education, qualifications, experience, and location. Stantec offers bonus eligibility. Part‑time compensation is pro‑rated based on hours.
