Locums About the Facility A facility is seeking an urgent care physician for locum tenens coverage. About the Facility Location Everything is bigger in Texas! That's why there is just so much to do in El Paso, Texas, including the El Paso Museum of Art, the Water Parks, the Zin Valle Vineyards, and the Zoo. About the Clinician's Workday Providers must be board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds, with 3-6 years of experience in Urgent Care, Family Practice, ER, or Pediatrics, and must be comfortable treating children under 3 months old.

Clinics are busy, fast-paced, and typically see 3-4 patients per hour. Required skills include closing lacerations, I&D, reading X-rays and EKGs;
Work Comp and DOT certification are a plus. Hours are Monday-Saturday 8AM-6PM and Sunday 8AM-5PM. Local candidates only-no lodging or airfare provided. EMR is Practice Velocity. Credentialing takes about 90 days. Providers should be available to float between multiple El Paso clinic locations, including North Mesa, Cimarron, Edgemere, Kenworthy, North Zaragoza, and Viscount. Additional Job Details Case Load/PPD: 30-60 Support Staff: MA's and RT.
