The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus (El Paso, TX) is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for call-only inpatient coverage over the holidays December 22, 2025 (7am) through January 5, 2026 (7am). This is a great opportunity to lock in premium holiday coverage and position yourself for future recurring dates the facility expects to release soon.

• Setting: Inpatient only

• Coverage Type: Call-Only (2nd call / backup)

• Patients per day: 2 3

• Phone consults: 3 4 per 24 hrs

• Admissions: 2 3

• Unassigned patient coverage

• EMR: Cerner

• Temp privileges available (30-day credentialing window)

• Nearest Airport: El Paso International (ELP)

(Great mix of bread-and-butter GI no outpatient load)

• Upper Endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, bleeder control, variceal injection)

• ERCP Diagnostic & Therapeutic- preferred

• PEG placement

• Esophageal dilation & manometry

• Small bowel biopsy

• Flexible & rigid sigmoidoscopy

• Colonoscopy

• Polypectomy

• EUS
  - Preferred

• Board Certified Gastroenterologist

• ACGME-accredited residency/fellowship

• Active Texas license

• ACLS required- we can help with Life Support Certification!
