Position: El Paso, TX Schools | Psychologist (LSSP) Openings | 2025-2026

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: El Paso, Texas

Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract Options

Pay Range: $43 $ 50/hour (Based on experience, licensure, and employment path)

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) for a full-time school-based position in El Paso, TX for the  school year. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting student success through psychological assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.

Employment Options

Local W-2 (Blazer Jobs):

  • School-year placement (August-May)
  • Weekly pay based on experience

Travel W-2 or 1099:

  • Flexible contracts (semester or 412 weeks)
  • Weekly gross: $1,593 $ 1,718+

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological and educational evaluations
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling services
  • Support special education eligibility and IEP development
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
Requirements
  • Active Texas LSSP license (or eligibility)
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • School-based experience preferred
  • Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
