AECOM is seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities- Skilled in the development of commercial strategies and participating in negotiations.
- Effectively lead the project controls function on a medium to large project.
- Conduct root cause analysis.
- Draft comprehensive project procedures.
- Possess proven knowledge of scope control and change management.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of construction contracting including how contract type affects implementation of project controls systems.
- Review performance trends, prepare analysis of outstanding issues, potential change orders, and track all updates, reporting current status.
- Evaluate manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.
- Understand schedule, critical path analysis, resource loading, and leveling.
- Serve as a key participant in client and/or subcontractor negotiations.
- Track system to ensure PM team is fully aware of detailed change order status.
- Use PMIS to manage change order life‑cycle from issue creation through execution.
- Coordinate and manage the change management process covering scope, cost, and schedule changes.
- Identify and assess change impacts and document for coordinated decision‑making, including design, contract, and supplier changes.
- Manage the overall process with input from Design, PgM, and CM teams, entered into and maintained in the program controls system.
- Assist in developing change management reporting.
- Lead and document change control board (CCB), including actions, decisions, and follow‑up tasks.
- Assist and develop presentations with the change initiator for discussion at CCB.
- Ensure process is developed and communicated, and develop communication protocols for the integrated team to immediately understand and access changes.
- Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS + 6 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- US citizenship is required due to the nature of this program.
- Relocation is not available for this position.
