About the roleWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Permanent Controller to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. Responsibilities- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate all audit activities and liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
- Regularly produce financial reports and statements to provide updates on the financial status of the company.
- Implement financial management tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information.
- Evaluate and manage risk, perform tax planning and compliance.
- Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report and forecast future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures.
- Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
- Manage investment strategies and activities; ensure effective cash management.
- Supervise the accounting team, including performance reviews, job design, recruitment, and professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory position.
- In‑depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
