Responsible for the accurate processing of member transactions and direct responsibility for the cash under your control.

• Performs various cash and check deposit duties, along with check cashing responsibilities as requested by members.
• Performs cash or check withdrawals from deposit accounts as requested by members, along with processing cash/check loan payments.
• BALANCES cash and daily transactions.
• Provides information on deposit and loan services offered by the credit union.
• Assists members on specific questions with their accounts.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.
• Responsible for posting night drop deposits and mail deposits.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Minimum six months paying and receiving teller experience required, or one-year cashiering experience at a non‑financial institution.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one situations to members, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Working knowledge of and ability to use CRT and 10‑key calculator.
