Lowery Property Advisors (LPA) is a privately held commercial real estate valuation firm headquartered in Irving, Texas, with additional offices in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Georgia. LPA specializes in property valuation and appraisal, market research, feasibility studies, property tax consulting, right-of-way/eminent domain appraisals, litigation support, and expert witness testimony. Our primary clients include local and international lenders, private equity and institutional investors, TxDOT, government agencies, tax consulting firms, law firms, and owner-users.
LPA handles commercial real estate consulting and advisory projects across a wide variety of property types, including but not limited to retail, office, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, special use, mixed use, development land, and going concern valuations.
LPA is seeking candidates for an Associate position in our El Paso office. The role involves all aspects of real property valuation, including market research, property inspections, financial modeling, property income and expense analysis, and report composition.
Responsibilities- Research industry and market dynamics
- Conduct modeling and financial analyses
- Participate in writing financial reports
- Monitor and manage the performance of portfolio companies
- Assist in financial planning efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field
- Strong literary and grammatical skills; comfortable with writing and report composition
- Strong keyboarding proficiency
- Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CoStar and other commercial comps databases is a plus
- Familiarity with Argus or other discounted cash flow software is a plus
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0 - 2 years of professional experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
