Registered Pharmacy Tech., Part-Time (In-Patient-Rotating)
- Facility University Medical Center of El Paso
- Schedule - Shift - Hours Part Time - Rotating - Rotating
Assists pharmacist in the distribution of medication for Inpatient and Outpatient use. Responsibilities include inventory control, narcotic record keeping, TPN calculations and chemotherapeutic medication preparation.
Required Skills- Basic computer literacy and keyboarding/data entry skills required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications.
- Advanced Pharmacy Technician knowledge of pharmacy terminology and procedures.
- Previous work experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Current registration for Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- I.V. Certification completed within 3 months of hire. Annual I.V. Certification.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
