Registered Pharmacy Tech., Full-Time (In-Patient-Rotating)
- Facility University Medical Center of El Paso
- Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Rotating - Rotating
Assists pharmacist in the distribution of medication for Inpatient and Outpatient use. Responsibilities include inventory control, narcotic record keeping, TPN calculations and chemotherapeutic medication preparation.
Required Skills:
- Basic computer literacy and keyboarding/data entry skills required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications.
- Advanced Pharmacy Technician knowledge of pharmacy terminology and procedures.
Required Experience:
- A.
Work Experience:
Previous work experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred. - B. License/Registration/Certification: Current registration for Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. IV Certification completed within 3 months of hire. Annual IV Certification.
- C. Education and Training: High School graduate or equivalent. Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
