Pharmacist Traveler – Vibra Healthcare

Travel pharmacy staffing specialist covering local and non‑local positions with a competitive hourly rate plus a tax‑free stipend. No pay cuts mid‑contract. Up to $1,000 referral bonus. License reimbursement for new state requirements. Assignment‑by‑assignment work with one recruiter.

• Responsible for the filling and dispensing of medication orders, including proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs in the pharmacy.
• Maintain standards set forth by the department and translate policies and procedures into daily operations.
• Act as an information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug‑related information and literature.
• Coordinate with medical staff and nursing in the delivery of quality and cost‑effective drug therapies to patients.
• Participate in the hospital antibiotic stewardship program with a focus on patient safety and public health.
• Demonstrate competency to provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all relevant age groups.
• Provide leadership in the absence of the Director as assigned.

• Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited College/School of Pharmacy.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Pharmacist in the state of employment.

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• Experience with pharmacokinetics and anticoagulation preferred.
• TPN experience required.
• Current, valid, and active BLS certification from a Vibra Travel approved vendor preferred.
• Previous acute care experience required.
• Automated pharmacy dispensing experience.
• IV laminar flow hood experience.
• Electronic medical records experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Pharmacist in the state of employment.
• Current, valid, and active BLS certification from a Vibra Travel approved vendor.
