St. Giles Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our in‑house therapy team in El Paso, TX. This role is ideal for a licensed PT, OT, OTA or PTA who is ready to step into—or continue growing within—a leadership position in a collaborative, ethical, and patient‑focused environment.

Position OverviewThe Director of Rehabilitation oversees all aspects of the rehabilitation department, ensuring high‑quality service delivery across therapy disciplines. This role is responsible for clinical oversight, staff leadership, program development, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and support physical, occupational, and speech therapy staff
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation; conduct regular audits for compliance
- Manage therapy schedules to meet census and patient care needs
- Recruit, onboard, and develop PRN therapy staff as needed
- Implement clinical programs to drive quality outcomes and performance
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and corrective actions
- Build strong relationships with facility leadership, staff, residents, and families
- Monitor department productivity, budgets, and performance metrics
- Maintain a safe and compliant treatment environment aligned with infection control standards
- Active Texas license as a Licensed Therapist
- In good standing with all regulatory and licensing agencies
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in rehabilitation preferred
- SNF or long‑term care experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Net Health documentation system a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- In‑House Therapy Team – No contracted services
