The Health Information Analyst is responsible for carrying out the activities of the Health Information Management Department in the maintenance of all patient medical records, safeguarding all protected health information as outlined by HIPAA, and ensuring compliance with all state/federal laws, rules/regulations of licensing agencies and within TJC standards for the quality of patient care.
Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or GED and equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in information management and direct experience in a health care psychiatric facility preferred.
- Licensure: No licensure necessary.
