Abbott Point of Care has an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Support Specialist (ISS).

What you do
  • Implementation Support:
    Coordinate and execute Performance Verifications, End User Training, and Go Live Support within an implementation case.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    Ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately, including updating project notes and milestone dates in Summit, expense reporting, and other necessary items.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Understand customer needs, build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts, and articulate the benefits of point‑of‑care testing.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Demonstrate a thorough understanding of key product attributes and conduct product demonstrations.
Education and experience you’ll bring Required
  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Medical Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or a related field;
    Associate degree with relevant experience.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in the field.
  • Multi‑tasking:
    Manage multiple assignments across geographies.
  • Planning and Prioritization:
    Strong organizational skills.
  • Solution‑Oriented:
    Provide solutions and contingency plans.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce).
  • Travel:
    Willing to travel 75% of the time, including overnight travel. Eligible for a company car.
  • Teamwork and Independence:
    Work independently and as a team member.
  • Customer Service:
    Develop professional relationships and appropriate behavior.
  • Self‑Starter:
    Motivated by personal and team success.
  • Communication:
    Convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Problem‑solving:
    Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Public Speaking:
    Confidently present to upper management.
Preferred qualifications
  • Healthcare Knowledge:
    Familiarity with Emergency Departments, Free‑Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Care Centers.
