Radiology Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

A Facility Cath Lab Radiology Technologist operates specialized imaging equipment and assists care teams during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.

• Procedure Assistance: Help physicians during cardiac catheterizations, including Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Trans mitral Valve Repair (TEER), Electrophysiology (EP), and ECMO support.
• Equipment Operation: Prepare, operate, and maintain advanced imaging systems (such as Philips and Siemens equipment).
• Patient Care: Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vitals, and ensure safety throughout.
• Documentation: Record procedural details and patient data accurately into clinical documentation software like Merge.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school for Radiologic Technology.
• Certifications: ARRT (R) registration (Radiography) alongside current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). State-specific radiology licensure may also be required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience.
• Assignment Details: Typically structured as 13-week travel contracts requiring 36 to 40 hours per week, with rotating shift options and call requirements.
