Work Experience:
- One year of experience in patient billing or coding in a clinical setting.
- None.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to utilize billing/coding and insurance office skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Good overall knowledge of Health Information Systems practices, procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Time management skills, with emphasis on ability to prioritize.
- Ability to seek out new methods and principals to improve services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detailed oriented.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong customer service orientation.
