Job Description:
Serves as lead for all EDI related communication between internal users, external trading partners, and external EDI network providers.
Responsible for troubleshooting with new and existing trading partners to solve communication issues.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of "Gentran Sterling for Windows" mapping techniques.
Sets up new trading partners, tests new and existing trading partner data maps, monitors communication system status, tests procedures during EDI application software upgrades, and maintains the EDI procedures.
Assists the department from home bringing up the EDI server, fixing communication issues, and notifying the EDI team of their status and escalating them, as needed.
With the LA position, the candidate will need to be bilingual in Spanish and English.
The candidate will need to understand the Mexico Invoice process involving SAT.
Knowledge of Agile methodology and Jira project planning would be a plus.

Up to ten (preferably 5-7) principal responsibilities with end results, summarizing what the job delivers.
Key Output/Task 1: Implementation of EDI interfaces with our trading partners.
Subtasks:
Leverages EDI knowledge and best practices to develop EDI processes with full use of Gentran Server for Windows. Needs to have knowledge of all Gentran system components and mapping techniques with extended rules.Handle all Mexico processing of invoices, credit and debit memos, payment complements with SAT. This includes all file transfers to 3PLs who handle the SAT validations. Ability to work with internal AR department and external processors and the customers who consume these invoices. Able to work off hours to support monthly financial period closes.Full cycle EDI testing of installed interfaces within EDI and Oracle Applications ERP systems.Install electronic transaction interfaces with customers, suppliers, and 3rd party business partners.Monitoring of newly installed EDI processes.Key Output/Task 2: EDI Data Communications System Analyst.
Subtasks:Monitor EDI communication system, Lansa Integrator AS2, and data flow and respond to interruptions.Leverage knowledge of AS2, VAN and SFTP communication channels to monitor EDI communication system and data flows and to troubleshoot and maintain systems.Work with trading partners to implement new setups.Work with various SFTP tools to transfer Facturas/Invoices/Credit Memos to 3PLs.Key Output/Task 3: Supports existing EDI transactions and processes.
Subtasks:Identifying and resolving transactional issues.Team members share in the core support of existing EDI processes.Handle internal and external customer emails.Handle foreign EDI standards like EANCOM as well as X12.Key Output/Task 4: System troubleshooting on multiple systems.
Subtasks:Solves problems by performing troubleshooting.Analysis of exception handling alerts for all areas of the EDI process including communications server, core EDI server and oracle applications.Re-processing as necessary to ensure customer requirements are met.Key Output/Task 5: Special projects and tasks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
