Our client, Manufacturing & Distribution is seeking a Customer Order & Shipping Coordinator to join their team. As a Customer Order & Shipping Coordinator, you will be part of the Order to Remittance (OTR) and Shipping Operations team supporting daily order execution, backlog reporting, and shipment documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to learn and maintain local tools, and the confidence to communicate professionally with customers and suppliers.
Job Title:Customer Order & Shipping Coordinator Pay Range: $18 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift What's the Job?
- Drive the overall Order to Remittance (OTR) process, including order entry, scheduling, and backlog management.
- Update and maintain spreadsheets tracking product shipments and daily release of product/part shipments against sales orders.
- Create daily backlog order reports and provide delivery/status information to production and engineering as required.
- Update product yields in Oracle and validate min/max inventory data from Oracle to place weekly material orders as appropriate.
- Process international order documents through Oracle, Trade Automation (TA), and Trade Via (TV); scan and send shipping documents to the proper Customer Service Representative (CSR) pool and other concerned parties.
- High school diploma or local equivalent.
- At least 2-year manufacturing or clerical experience.
- Ability to communicate well and work with others, including professional phone and email communication with customers and suppliers.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to grasp technical concepts.
- Opportunity to support daily order execution and shipment accuracy in a fast-moving environment.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and local tools used to follow up on orders and manage shipment data.
- Role that contributes directly to customer satisfaction through timely delivery and clear status updates.
- Exposure to international trade compliance practices and coordination with freight forwarders.
- Clear expectations around EHS and Quality System compliance, helping you work with confidence and consistency.
