Maintenance Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES: (include, but are not limited to, the following)

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all equipment as well as provides process troubleshooting as needed.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problem; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Removes/replaces defective parts in a safe manner.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed parts.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Must be able to do minor welding, brazing and cutting torch.
• Be able to do minor repairs to truck, forklifts, etc.
• Operate Jib Cranes and Forklifts in safe manner.
• Wear safety equipment and obey safety rules.
• Be able to make minor repairs to building through the use of masonry, carpentry and/or cement work.
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder and other metal working tools to make and repair parts
• May work in other areas throughout the plant.
• And / or other duties as may be assigned.
• Report any Food Safety Problem to senior management.
• Initiates purchase order requests for parts a machine

• Ser capaz de hacer reparaciones menores a montacargas y otros equipos
• Saber utilizar y operar diferentes tipos de grúas y carretillas elevadoras de manera segura.
• Usar equipo de seguridad y obedezer las reglas y procedimientos de seguridad.
• Ser capaz de hacer reparaciones menores al edificio mediante el uso de mampostería, carpintería y / o cemento.
• Configura y opera torno, taladro, amoladora y otras herramientas de trabajo de metal para fabricar y reparar piezas
• Trabajara en distantas áreas de la planta
• Reportar cualquier problema de seguridad la alta gerencia.
