Forklift Operator

Summary of Job

Operate stand‑up forklifts (and cherry‑pickers & others industrial trucks). Receive and pick products following SOPs and work instructions. Put away, transfer and select products according to procedure. Load and unload transportation freight trucks. Other duties assigned by the clerk and/or immediate superior.

• Comply and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Comply and enforce Safety Quality Foods policies (SQF).
• Organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Enjoy a hands‑on work environment.
• Maintain a positive “can‑do” attitude.
• Control material flow by utilizing inventory control practices.
• Maintain the work area clean and orderly during and at the end of shift.
• Transport product, equipment, pallets, etc. using a motorized industrial vehicle.

• Stand‑up forklift operator certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers, picking orders and putting away materials.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• Technical Skills
  • Stand‑up forklift experience.
  • Maintain all industrial motorized vehicles clean, safe, operational, and secured.
• Soft Skills
  • Self‑driven.
  • Confident.
  • Responsible.
