Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembler III- 1st Shift at our El Paso, TX location! The hourly rate for this position is $18.39 per hour. The hours for this shift are 7:00 am - 3:45 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory s position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Assembler III is responsible for a wide range of skills including assembling, fitting and mounting subassemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. Perform assembly required for testing preparation and final inspection. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.
In This Function, You Will- Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions and engineering drawings.
- Use various tools, such as an impact gun, sidewinder, and drill to perform the assembly of switchboards.
- Handle materials by following established procedures.
- Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.
- Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5‑S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar.
- Perform other functions and/or tasks as assigned.
- Flexing into other functions of the business.
- Ability to be a team player and work independently with a sense of urgency.
- 1 year of internal switchboard manufacturing experience or 2 Assembler II certifications.

- 2+ years of assembly experience.
- Self-driven and able to produce desired results with minimal direction.
- Strong verbal and written communication, persuasion, and analytical problem‑solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment.
- Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.
- Proficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint.
- Must work somewhat independently and make decisions that affect the workgroup. Focus efforts on attaining assigned goals and objectives, which include meeting the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
- You will contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by complying with all policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment, and performing 5‑S duties.
