Forklift Operator - $16.00/HOUR

A company in West El Paso needs an experience Forklift Operator. The Forklift Operator

moves, loads, unloads, and stacks materials using powered industrial trucks, ensuring efficient, safe handling of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy through scanning/documentation, performing daily equipment checks (oil, fuel, battery), and adhering strictly to safety protocols to keep the supply chain moving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling:
  Operate forklifts to load/unload trucks, move products to/from storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Order Fulfillment:
  Pick, pack, wrap, and stage orders for shipment, verifying accuracy against work/purchase orders.
• Inventory Management:
  Stock items in correct locations, perform cycle counts, and use RF scanners to update inventory.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  Conduct daily pre-shift inspections (fluids, tires, brakes) and report any malfunctions; clean and refuel/recharge vehicles.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Follow all safety procedures, wear PPE, ensure loads are stable, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Documentation:
  Complete paperwork (bill of lading, count sheets) and report production data/issues.

Essential Skills &

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification/license.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.
• Basic math and computer/RF scanner skills.
• Reliability, good time management, and teamwork.

* Candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish).*

* Candidate must be experienced in loading and unloading of building materials from railcars, flatbeds, and dry vans.*
