Job SummaryThe OR RN provides perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This includes assessing patients, preparing the OR, acting as a circulating nurse, maintaining sterile technique, monitoring patient safety, and ensuring smooth postoperative transitions.
Qualifications- Active RN license (state of practice)
- BSN preferred (may be required by some facilities)
- 1+ year of hospital nursing experience; OR experience preferred
- BLS required; ACLS recommended/required based on facility
- CNOR preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Meaningful, fast‑paced work supporting critical procedures
- Strong interdisciplinary teamwork and OR collaboration
