Licensed Practical Nurse​/Licensed Vocational Nurse, Rehabilitation; nights

Overview

The Hospitals of Providence Rehabilitation Hospital East, El Paso, Texas operates jointly with Lifepoint Health. This full‑time night shift position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the rehabilitation unit, providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include delivering treatments, assisting with assessments, and supporting interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with patient needs.

The role requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and a commitment to patient‑centered care.

This role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. Candidates must be:

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
• CPR/BLS certification required; IV Certification highly preferred or to be obtained within 6 months.
