The HCA Nurse Residency Program is a year‑long program designed to give you hands‑on experience to build valuable clinical and critical thinking skills. The program will give you the tools to succeed in today’s hospital environment. This paid program will assist you with the transition out of the classroom setting through a formalized series of learning experiences, including advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, hands‑on simulations, mentoring from experienced nurse leaders and evidence‑based practice projects.

• January 26, 2026 – Med Surg
• February 9, 2026 – Med Surg

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring or other functions as ordered by the medical provider and document all care in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response and intervene as appropriate.
• Provide exceptional care by anticipating patient needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Teach patients, families and caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology to ensure understanding.

• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Graduate Nurse in the state.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse license in the state.
• No prior experience required.
• Travel may be required for training.
