Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of cath lab experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, and 1 Hybrid Lab
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Unit staffed with 1 Charge RN, 3 Cath Lab RNs, and 3 CVTs
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Rotating on-call required, including weekends
• Performs cardiac diagnostic procedures, PCI, Impella, peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies
• Additional procedures include IABP, thrombectomy, and implants
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
