American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications.

• Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) setting within a hospital system
• 26-bed unit with approximately 67 staff members
• Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 1 HUC, 7-9 RNs, and 2 PCTs/Paramedics
• Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 1 HUC, 6-7 RNs, and 2 PCTs/Paramedics
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses ventilators, EKG, and Teleneuro equipment
• Level 3 EMR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend work required (4 weekend days)

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Emergency Department specialty required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional references required (quantity varies by state)

• Performs IV insertion, EKG, in-and-out Foley catheterization, lumbar puncture, central line care, moderate sedation, and cardioversion
• Team-oriented environment seeking energetic and adaptable staff
• Scrub color requirement: cobalt/royal blue only
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
