American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift contract requiring TNCC, CPI, and a TX or compact RN license.

• Work in a 26-bed Emergency Department
• Staffing includes CNC, HUC, RNs, and PCTs/Paramedics across shifts
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses vents, EKG, and Teleneuro equipment
• Level 3 EMR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend requirement of 4 weekend days
• No on-call requirements
• Performs procedures including IV insertion, EKG, in & out foley, lumbar puncture, central lines, moderate sedation, and cardioversion

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri)

• Provide emergency care across a variety of acute and critical patient presentations
• Team environment emphasizing teamwork, energy, and willingness to learn
• Scrub color required: cobalt/royal blue only
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
