Position Overview

Our client’s highly established, full‑service veterinary hospital in El Pasado, Texas is looking for an exceptional team member to join a collaborative four‑doctor practice. The Associate Veterinarian (DVM) will deliver outstanding small animal medical and surgical care and build lasting client relationships through compassion and communication.

• Established, thriving practice with a strong patient base and excellent Pro Sal earning potential
• Experienced four‑doctor team offering mentorship, collaboration, and professional support
• 2:1 Vet Tech to Doctor ratio – focus on medicine, not admin
• 4‑day full‑time schedule within hospital hours (no late nights, no on‑call)
• Mix of general practice and occasional urgent care – no two days are the same
• Supportive employer committed to your growth, CE funding, and specialist development

• Mon–Fri: 8 AM–6 PM
• Sat (rotational): 8 AM–5 PM
• No after‑hours or on‑call – enjoy evenings and weekends!

• Provide high‑quality medical and surgical care to small animal patients
• Manage a varied caseload of consultations, diagnostics, and procedures
• Build lasting client relationships through compassion and communication
• Contribute positively to a supportive, team‑driven culture

• DVM or equivalent (licensed or eligible in Texas)
• Strong medical and surgical skills in small animal care
• Team player with great communication skills
• Passion for high‑quality, compassionate patient care
• Interest in professional growth and special‑interest development

• Base pay range: $120,000 – $175,000 per year
• 20% Pro Sal (no negative accrual)
• $100,000 signing bonus
• Full‑time, 4‑day work week within hospital hours
• CE allowance + paid CE leave
