Qualifications - Required Skills
- Technician degree in a Quality/Engineering discipline
- Experience and knowledge of Acceptance Sampling Plans and table usage.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, go/no go gages, and other mechanical inspection tools.
- Ability to prioritize inspection workload
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with ISO Quality Systems
- Must have experience with MS Office platforms (Excel, Word, etc.)
Desired Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical inspections experience
- Ability to discuss technical problems encountered with managers, engineering or purchasing staff.
- Visual inspection experience
Perform inspections and tests on incoming material, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and process controls throughout manufacturing and configuration. Generate documentation, records, and reports. Support quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams as needed.
Job Responsibilities- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming, in-process, and final products
- Inspect and test parts for compliance to drawings and specifications, document results, generate certificates of compliance, and maintain records
- Generate NCMR reports
- Update DHR records as needed
- Maintain and execute the Return Material Disposition Process
- Maintain IQA inspection database with required records
- Generate and maintain databases for inspection information
- Disposit non-conforming material through the MRB process
