Position: Quality Electrical Tester – Weekend EP1 PDCA

Location: Eaton El Paso, TX (within 50‑mile radius)
Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Full‑time)
Hourly Rate: $20.80 per hour
- Inspect and electrically test low‑voltage products on all lines according to inspection work instructions and applicable government requirements.
- Confirm proper function per test scripts, identify product non‑conformances, and ensure compliance with customer specifications, safety, and quality requirements.
- Document inspections on the applicable checklist.
- Perform final and in‑process inspections across multiple product lines to ensure quality products reach customers.
- Program controllers and conduct thorough electrical testing of low‑voltage assembly products.
- Perform inspections and audits of mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Use Hi‑Pot, continuity test, and component‑specific testing devices to perform electrical testing; verify switches, circuit breakers, and torqued connections per inspection instructions.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical tests per safety and training requirements and procedures.
- Interpret technical documents and schematics to identify operational issues.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing electrical testing (troubleshooting, circuits, electronics, product testing, system diagnosis).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Must reside within 50‑mile radius of Eaton El Paso, TX; relocation benefit not offered.
- Two or more years of experience in a Quality or Electrical Tester position in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with low‑voltage assemblies and customer functional test scripts.
- Computer literate and familiarity with Lean concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of basic electricity, current flow, and component functionality, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with UL, NEC, regional utility codes, and customer‑specific requirements.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret manufacturing documents and engineering drawings.
