Quality Control Coordinator II

Position Summary

Coordination of Nondestructive Examinations (NDE), Post‑Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT), nonconformance reporting, and the distribution of quality documents at the direction of the Project Quality Manager or Field Quality Control Manager. Interface with the Owners Team regarding technical issues. Evaluate the qualifications of NDE and PWHT technicians, review reports for conformance, and populate the applicable weld management program.

• Issue the relevant quality records and, when necessary, write and send non‑conformance reports to the QC Supervisor.
• Schedule, review, and log Nondestructive Examinations (NDE) and Post‑Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT).
• Evaluate the qualifications of NDE and PWHT technicians with regard to the activities assigned.
• Provide information regarding processes and specifications to craftsmen, supervisors and other appropriate members.

• 5+ years of related experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Bluebeam Revu.
• Ability to read and interpret weld procedures, engineering drawings, and project specifications.
• Working knowledge of industry‑related codes and standards.
• Strong writing skills: clear, accurate, concise.
• Organizational capabilities to plan and schedule inspections and tests.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical, logical thinking, and analysis skills.
• Effective interaction with clients.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with co‑workers and supervisors.
