The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is a leading Hispanic-serving institution located at the westernmost tip of Texas, where three states and two countries converge along the Rio Grande. UTEP is a growing research university recently awarded the R1 designation.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site postdoctoral position ponsibilities include conducting research, collaborating with faculty, participating in academic activities, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. The annual salary is $57,218 for the first year.
Qualifications- U.S. Citizenship
- Experience with quantum chemistry calculations or heavy-element chemistry
- Strong research skills and data analysis abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- PhD in a relevant field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
