Kitchen Manager

Here at Thirty 5ive Tavern & Grill, we pride ourselves on serving fresh seafood and premium beef in a team-oriented environment. We’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations and help deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

The kitchen manager is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food consistency, managing inventory, controlling costs, and leading the kitchen team to uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and food quality.

Key Responsibilities we expect out of our Kitchen Manager are as follows:

• Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities and staff.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Manage food inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor food and labor costs; implement cost-control measures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Train and develop kitchen team members.
• Collaborate with front-of-house management and ownership to meet company goals.
• Assist in menu development and seasonal updates.
• Handle equipment maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a kitchen management or similar leadership role is preferred, but not required.
• Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of kitchen operations.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and Serv Safe certification (preferred).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
