Household Furniture is El Paso’s largest and oldest family owned furniture store serving El Paso since 1945! We are hiring energetic and friendly professionals to serve as Retail Sales Associates. The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for selling furniture, mattresses, and accessories through outstanding customer service in a fast‑paced furniture Retail Sales environment. Sales experience is a plus, but no sales experience is necessary to apply!

• Commission based with performance bonuses

• Assist customers using the 5 Steps of Selling
• Demonstrate and explain feature and benefits of furniture
• Accurately enter information in the point‑of‑sale system
• Handle customer purchase paperwork and track orders
• Communicate with customers after the sale
• Communicate effectively with other employees
• Help maintain a clean, orderly working environment
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a CAN‑DO attitude
• Must be 18 years or older
• Retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Bilingual a plus! ck shelves and merchandise displays as needed

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in wireless or electronics sales
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Strong sales and upselling abilities
  
  Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and inventory

$40,000.00 - $ per year
