Role OverviewThe Senior Account Director is a strategic leader responsible for cultivating executive-level client relationships through an in-depth understanding of IT business needs. This key role focuses on driving growth initiatives, managing high-value accounts, and identifying expansion opportunities within established portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and nurture long-term, trusting relationships with clients, presenting our organizational capabilities effectively through strategic meetings to understand their objectives and challenges.
- Create detailed Account Plans and regularly report on revenue and headcount growth metrics to Global Account Managers or Account Directors.
- Conduct thorough market research to pinpoint upselling opportunities, assess customer requirements, and prepare engaging presentations on suitable services.
- Actively seek new business opportunities via client referrals, networking events, and social media engagement.
- Generate new business leads to enhance revenue while successfully negotiating and closing strategic deals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Staffing, Sales, and Business Development for optimal outcomes.
- Sales Leadership: 8+ years in senior sales roles such as sales executive, client partner, or engagement manager in the IT/Tech industry.
- Relationship Management:
Proven success in closing deals and cultivating long-term client partnerships. - Technical Background:
Previous experience as a Software Engineer or a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an IT-related field is highly valued. - Location:
Must be based in Texas, ideally in the Houston area. - Industry Focus:
Experience in the Oil and Gas (Energy) or SaaS sectors is a significant advantage.
