Overview
Low Voltage Technician responsible for providing reliable, high quality customer support through on-site inspecting, installing, repairing and/or replacing fire alarm, nurse call, cameras, and security equipment, as well as conducting preventive maintenance services for equipment from various manufacturers.
SalaryThe salary range for this position is $31,200-$59,000 per year depending on experience.

- One or more years’ experience
- Knowledge of NFPA codes is preferred
- Certifications preferred
- Low Voltage System Manufacturer factory certifications as required per territory
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug test, background and reference check
- Test all equipment after installation or repairs to ensure system performance
- Work in compliance with the Company’s safety manual, prioritizing safety
- Communicate daily with Project Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays, requirements and status of jobs
- Train apprentices on Company procedures, system inspection and installation techniques
- Perform work to NFPA and Company standards with quality inspection and installation techniques
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Schedule Coordinator and Office Administrative Staff to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client (ensure work is completed so it can be billed in full)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking
