Master or Journeyman Plumber

Overview

This licensed plumber position trains you to use the Mr. Rooter system as a service professional in the plumbing industry. You will be on a career path for advanced plumbing skills and credentials that provide future job security and opportunities to grow your income.

Initially, you’ll team up with a more experienced tech to train on the knowledge and skills you’ll need to perform. Once you are up to speed, you’ll be the face of the company and critical in providing an excellent experience for our customers.

• Communicating with the Customer – Meet customers who contact us to help solve problems in their homes with their water and plumbing systems.
• Diagnosing the Issue – Thoroughly investigate and diagnose the issue, then offer homeowner options to solve the problem.
• Completing Whole Home Plumbing Inspections – Offer and conduct whole home plumbing inspections, discovering other or potential issues and providing proactive solutions.
• Providing Repair and Maintenance Services – Tag-team with other licensed plumbers who will perform the work only a licensed professional is authorized to do.
• Following Our Mr. Rooter Plumbing Process – From greeting the customer to collecting payment, follow our proven process.

• Offering and Delivering Solutions – Educate customers and provide the best options to solve current issues and prevent future ones, then follow through to take care of their plumbing needs.
• Quality Workmanship – Ensure the job is done right, the first time.
• Operating Efficiently – Stay productive with time and materials to avoid waste.
• High Customer Satisfaction – Collect feedback via surveys and Google reviews and maintain high scores for our brand and location.

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and crawl into confined spaces.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable – you’ll be driving our company vehicle.
• Must have a valid Master or Journeyman plumbing license issued by the state of Texas

• iPad and Software – We use state-of-the-art technology and software to make onsite customer interactions faster and easier.
• Starting pay depends on your level of experience doing similar work.
• After the initial training period, you will earn generous commissions based on your overall performance, additional work performed, and job profitability.
