We are recruiting multiple faculty positions for our Telemedicine Program. This remote role uses tele-video technology to provide psychological services to inpatient facilities across Texas. Key Accountabilities
- Performing psychological testing, examinations, and evaluations including trial competency evaluations (TCE) in conformance with hospital bylaws and operating procedures, SSLC policy, Texas Administrative Code requirements, and applicable state and federal law;
- Providing consultation and recommendations to recovery teams and interdisciplinary treatment teams for individualized treatment planning and competency restoration planning in accordance with ethical standards regarding separation of treatment services and forensic evaluation services;
- Providing testimony in court for TCE’s as requested by the judge.
- Psy.
D. or Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Psychology from an APA-accredited program. - Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
