Material Handler, Operations Manager
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate III’s primary responsibility is to support the DC Supervisor(s) by overseeing and participating in shipping, receiving, picking, packing, moving, and storing warehouse inventory, as well as coordinating daily order processing, routing, tracking, and order maintenance across multiple ERP systems.
Responsibilities- Owns ERP batch releases to fulfillment center floor.
- Coordinate order issue resolution with cross‑functional teams.
- Provide departmental backup during absences.
- Process all necessary data for all shipments.
- Maintain schedules with required information for documentation.
- Ensure all paperwork for shipments is completed properly within procedure guidelines.
- Coordinate shipments with internal and external customers.
- Support the team in hitting KPIs by identifying and communicating work‑shift needs to Fulfillment Supervisor(s).
- Maintain working knowledge of ERP systems, distribution tools/network, shipping and scheduling tools.
- Use an RF scanner to enter records and record data.
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Drive forklift (reach truck, order picker, turret truck, sit‑down) to pick/pack and transport items.
- Prepare parcels for shipping and stage pallets.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred one year experience on Oracle or other MRP system.
- Preferred one year work experience in a production or warehouse environment.
- Effective communication via phone, email, Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent communication skills with internal contacts within immediate job area.
- Detail‑oriented, quick learner, extremely dedicated, and punctual.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel preferred).
- Customer‑service oriented.
- Ability to work self‑guided with some instruction.
- Operation of powered industrial vehicle (fork truck).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
English (Spanish/English a plus).
Work Environment /Physical Requirements
This position is performed in a warehouse environment, typically indoors but may require access to outdoors role requires frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, handling products, and lifting up to 35 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally, with potential exposure to varying temperatures. Employees may stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours, and must handle different temperature conditions as the warehouse is hot in summer and cooler in winter.
