Parts Control Support Specialist (Warehouse) (Full Time)
Location: El Paso, TX
Shift: 1st Shift
7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $14.00/hr + Benefits after 90 days
(promotional increase available for current team members based on experience)
ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc., a distributor of a broad range of technology products and depot maintenance services, has a full‑time opportunity for a Parts Control Support Specialist in our East El Paso facility. The Parts Control Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating the physical and systematic movement of products, parts and other inventory needed to ensure on‑time completion of production. This position requires good computer skills.
The ideal candidate is comfortable using web‑based warehouse management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Our ideal candidate will also have previous warehouse and/or inventory experience.
- Performs general warehousing duties.
- Orders and supplies Parts and Components as requested by Planning & Production.
- Checks in all parts and components to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Transfers inventory between WIP locations.
- Creates Work Orders, processes missing parts, upcharge and RTW.
- Maintains Inventory Control policies and procedures.
- Ensures timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience
Skills and Abilities
- Operates conveyors, pallet jacks, carts and/or other equipment
- High school level math, reading and writing skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be flexible, adaptable and to learn new methods and procedures as requested or required to meet company and customer needs
