Reporting directly to the Warehouse Lead or Manager, the Rework Inspector plays a vital role in auditing all outbound freight before it is tendered. You will be tasked with identifying any inconsistencies and notifying the appropriate warehouse supervisor to ensure they are addressed correctly. Additionally, you will maintain accurate daily records of all inspections and provide these logs to the Warehouse Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of shipment quantities by comparing documentation against the inventory that has been picked.
- Help maintain high inventory accuracy standards by verifying that part numbers on shipping papers match the physical stock.
- Perform thorough visual checks of pallets to confirm that all cartons are arranged correctly.
- Apply your assigned Quality Control stamp to labels to certify that all shipment details have been thoroughly reviewed.
- Contribute to operational transparency by documenting every inspected order in the Outbound Inspection Log for daily submission to the Warehouse Manager.
