• Build client relationships and provide tax advice.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and via virtual tools—video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns, generating business growth and increasing client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS support and specialized services.
• Mentor and support teammates.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or taxli>
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessmentli>
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
